"Confronting an Increasingly Dangerous North Korea: the ROK-US Alliance"

Lt. General (Ret.) Inbum Chun of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Army 

The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs partnered with the Atlanta Council on International Relations welcomes retired Lt. Gen. Inbum Chun of the Republic of Korea (ROK) Army.                

Lieutenant General Inbum Chun (ROK, Ret.) served 38 years in the South Korean Army and retired in 2016. He commanded combat units from platoon to the division level and his final command position was Commanding General of the ROK Special Forces. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

He is currently President of the Society for Army Alliance Korea, President for the Korean AI Security Association, Senior Fellow with the Association of the United States Army. A Distinguished Military Fellow with the Institute for Security Policy Development/Sweden and an Adjunct Researcher with Waseda university. Chun advises many organizations to include the National Institute for Deterrence Studies, National Bureau of Asian Research, the Korean Counter Terrorist center, the city of Sungnam and is an active YouTuber in Korea. He also advocates for animal rights.
